How do we use your data?
When you sign up to and use our services we collect data from you
When you buy software or services from us, we will use your personal information to fulfil your order, keep you updated on its status, and to provide you with the software or service you have requested. The details we collect from you when you sign up include your name, address, email address, phone number, company name and website URL.
To complete your sign up, we share your personal information with our subcontractors who are involved in the sign up process, such as payment providers, as well as credit reference agencies who we use to assess fraud, credit and/or security risks.
We need to process your personal information in this way to register you and provide the ongoing services and benefits to you, as part of the contract you entered into with us.

When you phone us, contact us by email or use our website chat service with general queries, we may also handle your personal information (your name, contact details and the other details you provide to us) in order to provide the customer services you have asked us to. This could be when you ask us to provide more information about our services, or to explain how SM>A works.
If we are providing those customer services to you because it is part of your contract with us, we use the data you provide to us as part of fulfilling that contract between us. In all other cases, we rely on your consent to handle your personal information in this way.
When you have expressed an interest in SM>A services we may collect data from you and use it in marketing
This section applies if you have opted in to receive marketing communications from us, or have previously expressed an interest in Somuchmorethanaccounts’s services and not opted out.

Where is my data stored?
SM>A headquarters is based inside the European Economic Area (EEA). SM>A and many of our suppliers, including our website hosting provider, are based outside the EEA so their processing of your personal information will involve a transfer of data outside of the EEA.
Whenever we transfer your personal information outside of the EEA, we ensure it is protected by making sure one of the safeguards required by data protection law has been put in place.

How long do we retain your data for?
