What syncs between eTail Support and Shopify

Products

Push your master product catalogue from eTail Support to Shopify, or import existing Shopify products into eTail Support. Variants, images, descriptions, SKUs, prices, weights — all bidirectional.

Stock levels

eTail Support holds the master stock figure across all channels. Shopify gets a live feed via the Inventory API. When stock changes anywhere — an Amazon sale, a goods-in receipt, a stock count adjustment — Shopify updates within seconds.

Orders

Shopify orders flow into eTail Support automatically (via the Shopify webhooks). All order data preserved — line items, customer details, shipping address, discount codes, gift cards, tax breakdown.

Fulfilment

Pick, pack and ship from eTail Support. We mark the Shopify order as fulfilled with the courier and tracking number, which triggers Shopify's customer notifications automatically.

Refunds & returns

Refunds processed in Shopify push back to eTail Support; refunds processed in eTail Support push to Shopify. Stock returns automatically. Accounting entries reverse. No double-handling.

Customers

Shopify customer database syncs to eTail Support's customer database. Helps with multi-channel customer view and lifetime value reporting.

Payments & reconciliation

Shopify Payments deposits (less fees, refunds, chargebacks) automatically reconcile against your eTail Support sales. Bank deposit matches the books to the penny.

Multi-store Shopify Plus setups

Multi-store Plus operations are well-supported. eTail Support can run multiple Shopify stores against a single shared stock pool, with each store reporting separately for channel-level P&L.

Setup — 5 minutes

  1. In eTail Support, go to Integrations → Add → Shopify
  2. Click "Connect Shopify Store" — you'll be redirected to Shopify to authorise
  3. Approve the connection in your Shopify admin
  4. Choose your sync direction for products (push from eTail Support to Shopify, pull from Shopify to eTail Support, or both)
  5. Done — orders start flowing through immediately
